Hello Friends of Deer Lake (FODL),
At the 6th Annual FODL AGM BBQ and meeting, Professor Daniel Walters will be offering a short presentation on the recognition of Cyanobacteria, otherwise known as Blue-Green Algae, that has shown its ugly face in Deer Lake.
As this is a hazardous natural occurrence, I strongly advise all FODL members & guests attend so they will be able to understand & identify.
Professor Walters expertise will help all Deer Lakers’ understand the risks Blue-Green Algae brings to us all. He will also be giving us the oxygen level results of our beautiful waters based on his six week long experiment in 50 feet of water on Deer Lake.
